Easton Walled Gardens
Welcome to 12 acres of 'lost' gardens. 400 years of gardening have created a peaceful and settled atmosphere, enhanced by the beautiful valley surrounding it.
About Easton Walled Gardens
Until Winter 2001, these gardens had been completely abandoned for 50 years. In 2010, eight years on, visitors can see more than just a restoration project. We have Snowdrops, Sweet Peas, Irises, David Austin Roses,Daffodils, and our popular Cutflower Garden.
There are walks, drifts of bulbs, meadows, borders, auricula theatres, a cottage garden and a turf maze. We have a tearoom selling light lunches, teas and homemade cakes and a shop that stocks seasonal gardening gifts.
The gardens have been in the Cholmeley family for 14 generations and I work full time on the gardens. You will find an atmosphere quite unlike public properties. Visitors are kind enough to be 'staggered' at the amount of work we have achieved. We hope you leave feeling relaxed, enchanted and inspired to work on your own garden.
